Packing for Three Days in Budapest, Vienna, and Salzburg

Since arriving in Florence, I have purchased three things, which might sound like a lot for only 3 weeks, but the end of the season sales are incredible here. I also knew before I left that I would probably need these items and wanted to purchase them in Florence (again the sales!).

I bought the most amazing pair of black leather boots from my favorite fancy shoe store. They look just like the 50/50 Stuart Weitzman boots everyone's been wearing this winter, except they were under 100 euro! I also purchased a black coat. I probably could have gotten away with just my navy coat (I don't mind mixing black and navy), but I found a gorgeous and chic wool-cashmere black coat at Max and Co. for half price and it was just too beautiful not to purchase. Finally, I treated myself to some pink cashmere lined leather gloves just off the Ponte Vecchio. I have learned the hard way that unlined gloves do very little!

All of these items will be traveling with me this weekend on a whirlwind three-day trip to Budapest, Vienna, and Salzburg! This trip will be a blur, but it will also give me a taste of three new cities. While I would love to have a week in every place I want to visit, that just isn't feasible. So sometimes short trips are essential for deciding what places are worth more of your time.

Here is what I am packing for this long weekend:

I am traveling with my friend Anna's travel company, FlorenceForFun, to take photos for their promotional materials (and because it's an incredible perk of your best friend owning a travel company). I am so excited to try out my new camera lens in some gorgeous new cities. I promise to give a full review/recap of each city when I return. Until then you can follow my adventures in real time on Instagram!

Bacio Bacio!
